Customer problem:
When I used Xhorse Multi Prog to read VAG MQB49 5C key data, I got the error message “CLK line not connected”. Even though the CLK line checked out fine, the error still won’t go away.
Solution:
The MCU cable has not been modified.
To successfully read MQB49 5C/5D key data with Multi Prog, you must first modify the MCU cable. Once that’s done, try the operation again.
